How to Search a Database

There are few ways to search for a compound you are looking for. Below, you find an overview of search methods. You can search for data on specific compounds based on Aurora's order number, molecular weight and structure.

Search by Compound Order Number

If you know the Aurora's order number (ID) (e.g., A00.000.000, K00.000.000), you can search our database for this compound by entering its ID number. To begin searching by ID, just go to the web page "Search by Text/File" and enter the ID number into the appropriate field.

Search by Molecular Weight

You can search for a compound by its molecular weight on the web page "Search by Text/File". Simply enter the molecular weight of the compound you are looking for. Examples:
From: 50 (type 50). Click "Search". Search will retrieve all compounds with molecular weight 50 and larger. This option can be used to specify either a minimum molecular weight value.
Up to: 100 (type 100). Click "Search". Search will retrieve all compounds with molecular weight less than 100. This option can be used to specify a maximum molecular weight value.
From 100 to 150 (Type 100 and 150). Click "Search". Search will retrieve all molecules whose molecular weight falls within a range 100-150.

Search by List File

If you have a list of Aurora's order numbers that you would like to query, you may upload the entire file (.lst file) for searching. On the "Search by Text/File" page, simply click the "Browse" button, find the file on your computer, and click "OK". Then click the "Upload and Search" button.

Search by SD File

If you have a list of structures that you would like to query, you may upload the entire file (.sdf file) for searching. On the "Search by Text/File" page, simply click the "Browse" button, find the file on your computer, and click "OK". Then click the "Upload and Search" button.

Search by Structure

You can combine structure search with the search by molecular weight. Example: you draw pyridine, enter molecular weight as a range 100-150 and choose "Substructure Search" option. Our search engine returns all structures that contain pyridine ring of the molecular weight from 100 to 150.

How to order compounds

Please click the button "Add to Cart" for a desired compound on the "Search Result" web page. That puts the item in your shopping cart and takes you to the "Shopping Cart" page, where you'll be able to view the items you've added to your cart. You can enter/change the quantity, or remove the compound from Shopping Cart. Once you've added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. Further you simply click the button "Create Request" and fill out a contact form. If you click the button "Create Request" we will be in touch with you very shortly.
